Operational Governance Knowledge Flashcards No. 19/19
Tableau Software
From the Operational Governance flashcard deck; today this discipline goes by BizOps. The original card is republished here as a field note.
01 What is it
Tableau Software is interactive data visualization software: it helps people see and understand data.
In 2020 the world will generate 50 times the amount of data as in 2011, and 75 times the number of information sources. Within these data are huge opportunities for human advancement. But to turn opportunities into reality, people need the power of data at their fingertips. Tableau delivers exactly that.
